[PATCH] build: sync ax_enable_builddir.m4 with autoconf archive
- Remove "heavily modified" comment
- Update author & date.
- While submitting the changes to the autoconf archive, I realized
the need to handle the case of a separate AUX directory. This
should not affect module-init-tools.
