The nci suite is a collection of tools for connecting to a canvas[1]
installation. If your goal is to grade some assignments, but you would
prefer to use a text editor instead of your browser, this software might
be what you are looking for.

The name `nci' used to stand for `ncurses canvas interface', but it
turned out that the ncurses part, while very pretty, didn't add much.
