   1 Winter Haikus
   2
   3 Winter's bite am I,
   4 White, brittle as baby's skin.
   5 Growing into spring.

   7 Dark clouds over the land,
   8 A grey beauty nigh unmatched
   9 For I fear the sun.

  12 a gift of mine which only
  13 summer will return.
