25 In March 2000, James William Breen assigned ownership of the copyright
26 of the dictionary files assembled, coordinated and edited by him to the

28 Monash University (hereafter "the Group"), on the understanding that

30 will foster the development of the dictionary files, and will utilize all
31 monies received for use of the files for the further
32 development of the files, and for research into computer lexicography and

36 This document outlines the licence arrangement put in place by The
37 Group for usage of the files. It replaces all previous copyright and
38 licence statements applying to the files.

312 that the copyright of other compilers of dictionaries and lexicographic

314 has not been infringed. The Group asserts its intention to rectify immediately
315 any breach of copyright brought to its attention.

318 Any individual or organization in possession of copies of the files, upon becoming
319 aware that a possible copyright infringement may be present in the files,
320 must undertake to contact the Group immediately with details of the
321 possible infringement.

327 All permissions for use of the files granted by James William Breen
328 prior to March 2000 will be honoured and maintained, however the placing
329 of the KANJD212 and EDICTH files under the GNU GPL has been withdrawn as
330 of 25 March 2000.

333 <B>7. Special Conditions for the KANJIDIC, KANJD212 and KANJIDIC2 Files</B>
