9 Dstat, written in Python, is a versatile replacement for vmstat,
10 iostat, netstat and ifstat. Dstat overcomes some of their limitations
11 and adds some extra features, more counters and flexibility. Dstat is
12 handy for monitoring systems during performance tuning tests,
13 benchmarks or troubleshooting.
14 Dstat allows you to view all of your system resources in real-time,
15 you can e.g. compare disk utilization in combination with interrupts
16 from your IDE controller, or compare the network bandwidth numbers
17 directly with the disk throughput (in the same interval).
19 Note that to get proper output, your terminal size should be known by
20 the termios subsystem. This can be done by running the 'resize'
