16 Emphasis creates or restores material
<strong>directly taken
</strong> from LPs or emphased CDs with
17 different filter curves. E.g. to store music on vinyl the signal has to be
18 altered by a filter first to
<strong>even out the disadvantages
</strong> of this recording medium.
19 Once the material is played back the
<strong>inverse filter
</strong> has to be applied to restore the

</strong> Control the input level before the signal is processed

</strong> The level after the input knob

</strong> Flashes if input level rises above

</strong> Don't process anything, just bypass the signal

</strong> The level after processing and after the output knob
