   9 You must have libXpm library installed and the shape extension supported
  10 by your X server to be able to build and install libdockapp.

  12 If you received this file in a tarball then you probably need to generate the
  13 configuration environment yourself. You need libtool and autotools for this
  14 purpose.
  15 To compile libDockApp enter the libdockapp directory and type:

  17 autoreconf -if
  18 ./configure
  19 make install

  21 You can choose to not install the examples or the fonts with configure
  22 options:
  23   --with-font             install the dockapp font (default=yes)
  24   --with-examples         install the examples (default=yes)

  27 The API is described in dockapp.h
  28 There are some examples in the examples directory. These aren't build by
  29 default.
  30 You can compile them like:

  32     cd examples/basic
  33     make

  35 Optionally you can "make install" if you really like the example application.
