   6 Note: all apm statistics are taken directly from
   7 /proc/apm (in Linux) or /dev/apm (in FreeBSD).  If
   8 you see odd behavior with WMAPM (such as
   9 displaying battery time remaining without a
  10 corresponding percentage), please first check the
  11 statistics in /proc/apm (or using your system's
  12 'apm' program to see if the computer/kernel are
  13 properly reporting the applicable statistics.
