   3 and still, even with techniques to utilize a fast multiprocessor system, it took
   4 three and a half hours and four gigabytes of memory to compute the
   5 graph of adjacent words.. there was also the trouble of finding an acceptable
   6 word list in the first place. most wordlists available on the internet are
   7 filled with the most egregious crap, or are too small to be of
   8 real use. if i wanted wonderfully perturbed random nonsense to slowly appear, i
   9 still wanted that nonsense to be interpretable and not esoteric.. the oed and
  10 merriam webster's offerings (or stealings) were right out. even still, many of the
  11 words i've used were not in the final list, or were not connected
  12 to the main corpus of words (about five percent were not connectable using
  13 the permutations i accepted). at least this ui itself was fairly easy to
  14 generate, though there's the trouble of controlling words from wrapping around the page.
