  42 This driver provides access to the 16bit
  43 .Tn SCSI
  44 bus connected to the Advanced Systems Products, Inc.
  45 .Tn ASC3550 Ultra ,

  47 .Tn ASC38C0800 Ultra2 ,
  48 SCSI Host Adapter chips.
  49 Both chips support, synchronous transfers
  50 (20MHz and 40MHz max respectively),
  51 16bit transfers, tagged queueing,
  52 and up to 253 concurrent SCSI transactions.

  54 Per target configuration performed in the
  55 .Tn AdvanceWare
  56 menu, which is accessible at boot,
  57 is honored by this driver.
  58 This includes synchronous/asynchronous transfers,
  59 maximum synchronous negotiation rate, wide transfers, disconnection,
  60 tagged queueing, and the host adapter's SCSI ID.
  61 The global setting for the maximum number of tagged transactions allowed
  62 per target is not honored as the CAM SCSI system will automatically determine
  63 the maximum number of tags a device can receive as well as guarantee fair
  64 resource allocation among devices.
