12 - Install all the dependencies (glib, gtk, and guile).
13 - If you are building the repository version, then you will
14 need the following packages installed as well:
16 autoconf, automake, libtool, gettext, intltool,
17 cvs, flex, groff, transfig
19 - Download all source packages and the toplevel Makefile.
20 - Untar all packages in a directory and place toplevel Makefile
21 in this same directory.
22 - [OPTIONAL] Edit Makefile changing prefix to a different install
23 directory other than the default ($HOME/geda)
25 - Follow instructions on setting all the shell variables.
26 - Set shell variables explicitly in your shell. *VERY IMPORTANT*
28 - Read the release notes for more information and last minute issues.
29 - Read the docs in: ${prefix}/share/doc/geda-doc/gedadocs.html
30 - Run: gschem and play! :-)
