   5 This repository hosts development of the core LaTeX distribution, which\r

   9 - LaTeX team documentation (`doc`)\r

  11   - Essential tools (`tools`)\r

  21 Only issues *specifically related to these components* should be logged here\r
  22 (https://github.com/latex3/latex2e/issues). The LaTeX ecosystem is large, and\r
  23 there are *many* (thousands) of additional packages not maintained by us:\r
  24 issues related to the use of those need to be reported to the relevant\r
  25 maintainers.\r

  27 To help you making the right decision where to report an issue we ask to start\r
  28 your minimal example file showing the problem *always* with\r

  45 Changes to the core LaTeX distribution have to be approached bearing in mind\r
  46 the importance of maintaining stability. This means that all changes have to be\r
  47 carefully weighed up, balancing the issues addressed by a change with\r
  48 the effects on existing documents. We strongly suggest raising suggestions on\r
  49 the [LaTeX-L mailing\r
