   7 * split two assignments into the two assignments on two lines;
   8   don't use two equals signs
   9 * remove unecessary comments
  10 * remove unecessary error messages. Example kzalloc() has its
  11   own error message. Adding an extra one is useless.
  12 * use goto statements for error handling when appropriate
  13 * there is a lot of unecessary code in the driver. It was
  14   originally a standalone driver. Remove uneeded code.
