   1 KchmViewer is a CHM (MS HTML help file format) viewer, written in
   2 C++. Unlike most existing CHM viewers for Unix, it uses Trolltech
   3 Qt widget library with optional KDE libraries. It does not require
   4 KDE, but may be compiled with full KDE support, including KDE
   5 widgets and KIO/KHTML.

   7 The main advantage of KchmViewer is extra support for non-English
   8 languages. Unlike other viewers, KchmViewer in most cases is able
   9 to detect help file encoding, correctly shows tables of context of
  10 Russian, Korean, Chinese and Japanese help files, and does correct
  11 search in non-English help files (search for MBCS languages -
  12 ja/ko/ch is still in progress).
