   4 Here are some quick notes, that may or may not evolve into something more
   5 substantial over time. Development is preferably done via git merges.

   7 * git trees don't contain pre-built config/Makefiles/etc. You'll need to
   8   run the following (in order):

  10       aclocal
  11       automake --add-missing --copy
  12       autoconf

  14 * Documentation is in SGML source in doc/ so don't edit *.8, *.5 directly.

  16 Prior to a new release:

  18       Update configure.ac with new version
  19       prune git tree/commit with new version in configure.ac
  20       prep tree for tarball
  21       push to kerneltools.org (along with GPG signed ASC signature)
