2 MonoDevelop's support of Java is accompished via IKVM.NET
3 (see http://www.ikvm.net) and it intended to allow writing
4 .NET applications and libraries in Java. With this in mind
5 we will be moving to producing .NET assemblies instead of
6 java class files or jars by default.
