1
Re-grading Student Assessments

3
This link re-calculates the
"Grading grades
" of all the student
4 assessments which have a corresponding teacher assessment. Normally it is
5 not
necessary to action this re-calculation. Student assessments
6 are automatically graded after the teacher has assessed the relevant piece
7 of work from the student.

9
If, however, the Grading grades are felt to be too high or too low the
10 teacher may wish to change the
"Comparison of Assessments
" option
11 (by Updating the Exercise). The default value of this option is
12 "Fair
". If the grading grades are too high then setting the
13 option to either
"Strict
" or
"Very Strict
" will reduce
14 the grades. Or alternatively if the grades are too low, setting the option
15 to
" Lax
" or
"Very Lax
" will increase the grades.

17
If a change to the Grading grades is required the steps are:
19
Update the Workshop with the new value of the Comparison of Assessments
21
Go to the Workshop's Administration page and click on the
22 "Re-grade Student Assessments
" link.

24 The new grades will be displayed. These process can be safely repeated.
