   1 <h1>Import Category</h1>

   3 <p>The <b>Category:</b> drop-down is used to select the
   4 category into which the imported questions
   5 will go.</p>

   7 <p>Some import formats (GIFT and XML Format) permit the category
   8 to be specified inside the import file. In order for this to
   9 happen the <b>Get category from file</b> box must be ticked. If it is not,
  10 the questions will go into the selected category regardless
  11 of any instructions in the file. Formats exported from
  12 Moodle may also contain the category context embedded in
  13 the category string. Deselect <b>Get context from file</b> to
  14 force the default context to be used.</p>

  16 <p>When categories are specified inside an import file, if they
  17 do not exist they will be created.</p>
