  39 Section one of the manual contains most of the commands
  40 which comprise the

  42 user environment.
  43 Some of the commands included in section one are
  44 text editors, command shell interpreters,
  45 searching and sorting tools,
  46 file manipulation commands,
  47 system status commands,
  48 remote file copy commands, mail commands,
  49 compilers and compiler tools,
  50 formatted output tools,
  51 and line printer commands.

  53 All commands set a status value upon exit which may be tested
  54 to see if the command completed normally.
  55 The exit values and their meanings are explained in the individual
  56 manuals.  Traditionally, the value 0 signifies successful
  57 completion of the command.
