19 <para>Fonts are really easy to configure in &kde;. Open up the Control
20 Center (with <menuchoice><guimenu>K-Menu</guimenu><guimenuitem>Control
21 Center</guimenuitem></menuchoice>) and choose
22 <guilabel>Font Installer</guilabel> in <guilabel>System
23 Administration</guilabel>in the tree view.</para>
25 <para>There are two kinds of fonts: Personal and Global fonts.
26 Personal fonts are only accessible to your user, whereas global fonts are
27 accessible to everyone. When you open the <application>Font
28 Installer</application>, you're in Personal mode (you can see this in
29 the <guilabel>Location</guilabel> bar). When you click on the <guibutton>Administrator Mode</guibutton>
30 button, and put the <systemitem class="username">root</systemitem> password,
31 you can access global mode, where you can change the fonts for every user on
34 <para>For the rest, there is no difference between those two kind of fonts.</para>

38 <para>There is a list of fonts in the center. Click on a font to see a preview.
39 In the toolbar on the top you have buttons to access the top directory,
40 refresh and change the view.</para>
42 <para>If you want to, you can organise your fonts in multiple directories, so that
43 you can easily find them later.</para>

47 <para>To install a font, click on the <guibutton>Add
48 Fonts...</guibutton> button. A file open dialog will appear where you can
49 choose your font.</para>

53 choose <guibutton>Delete</guibutton>.</para>
