   9 <para>Sometimes when you start an application, it does not open the expected
  10 window.  Here are some questions to answer and steps to help you figure out
  11 what is wrong.</para>

  18 desktop that previously worked, then it is unlikely to be a problem with the

  21 &kicker; and this time started it with a desktop icon, then it could simply
  22 be that the launcher itself is wrong.</para>
