   1 A note on BSD licensing of the software contained herein.

   3 This software includes software previously released in 2003 under a
   4 GPL license, but released by the original copyright holder, Keir
   5 Fraser, under a BSD license, on 5/28/2008.

   7 The chain of electronic mails by which I, on behalf of the OpenAFS
   8 project, requested and secured the grant of license (BSD terms, as
   9 stated above) is included below.

  74 I=B9d be happy to relicense, however I=B9m unlikely to take the time to go
  75 through the tarball changing all references to GPL to refer to a BSD-alike
  76 license. Add to this the fact I do not have access to my CL account any
  77 more. However I=B9m happy for the OpenAFS project to take the tarball and do
  78 anything you like to it. The question then is simply what degree of
  79 assurance/provability do you require that we will not renege on this
  80 agreement later. Perhaps this email will suffice? :-)
