7 <span class="application">NetworkManager</span> allows you to connect to a local
8 network using a wired or wireless connection (Wi-Fi, 3G, or GSM):

14 <span class="application">NetworkManager Applet</span> to see the list of
15 available connections. Then select the one you want to connect to.

21 a. If you can already access the Internet, Tor and
22 <span class="application">[[Vidalia]]</span> are automatically started.
23 b. If you need to log in to a captive portal before being granted access to

26 If you want to reuse your custom <span class="application">NetworkManager</span>
27 configuration or the passwords of encrypted wireless connections across separate
28 working sessions, you can activate the [[<span class="guilabel">Network connections</span> persistence
