3 In rare occasions, you might have to perform a file system check to repair a
4 broken persistent volume.
6 1. Start Tails, with persistence disabled, and [[set up an administration

17 1. In the left pane, click on the device corresponding to your Tails device.
19 1. In the right pane, click on the partition labeled as
20    <span class="guilabel">Encrypted</span>. The
21    <span class="guilabel">Partition Label</span> must be
22    <span class="label">TailsData</span>.
24 1. Click on <span class="guilabel">Unlock Volume</span> to unlock the
25    old persistent volume. Enter the passphrase of the old persistent
26    volume and click <span class="guilabel">Unlock</span>.
28 1. Click on the <span class="guilabel">TailsData</span> partition that
29    appears below the <span class="guilabel">Encrypted Volume</span>
30    partition.
32 1. Click on <span class="guilabel">Check Filesystem</span>.
