  27 This directory contains the "common" (machine and platform-independent)
  28 implementations of the promif interfaces for machines compliant with
  29 IEEE 1275-1994.

  31 This implementation depends on the definition of certain fundamental
  32 types and definitions (i.e. cell size) in external ISA and platform-
  33 dependent header files, thus, the binaries created by compiling these
  34 files, are ISA and platform-dependent.
