  12 The  \fBiwi\fR \fI802.11b/g \fR wireless NIC driver is a multi-threaded,
  13 loadable, clonable,  GLDv3-based STREAMS driver supporting  the Data Link
  14 Provider Interface, \fBdlpi\fR(7P), on Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG 2915ABG
  15 chipset-based wireless NIC's. Driver functions include controller
  16 initialization, wireless \fI802.11b \fR infrastructure network connection, WEP
  17 and frame transmit and receive.

  21 The \fBiwi\fR driver performs auto-negotiation to determine the data rate and
  22 mode. Supported \fI802.11b \fR data rates are 1, 2, 5.5 and 11 Mbits/sec.
  23 Supported \fI802.11g\fR data rates are 1, 2, 5.5, 11, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48
  24 and 54 Mbits/sec.

  27 The \fBiwi\fR driver supports only BSS networks (also known as "ap" or
  28 "infrastructure" networks) and "open"(or "open-system") or "shared system"
  29 authentication. Only WEP encryption is currently supported. You perform
  30 configuration and administration tasks using the \fBdladm\fR(1M) and
  31 \fBwificonfig\fR(1M) utilities.
