2 The new Xenomai project has its roots in both the original Xenomai [1]
3 and RTAI [2] projects, which combined their skills in order to produce
4 a pervasive and highly integrated real-time framework for the
5 GNU/Linux environment. The resulting development effort started in
6 April 2004 has been initially hosted as an experimental branch of the
7 RTAI project, called RTAI/fusion. Since October 2005, this effort is
8 independently led by its original major contributors as the revamped
