   4 This is my attempt to maintain an online r&eacute;sum&eacute;
   5 of some form. I guess as it is online, I shouldn't be bothered
   6 restrict my self to a single printed paged. If you are after a more
   7 conventional format, see [[pdf|james-richardson-resume.pdf]],
   8 [[odt|james-richardson-resume.odt]], or
   9 [[docx|james-richardson-resume.docx]]. The trick will be to arrange
  10 for the other formats to be generated automatically in a post-update
  11 git hook. I guess pandoc is my friend here as he can convert from
  12 markdown. Ikiwiki, the wiki compiler I am using for this site requires
  13 (mostly) markdown. I'm used to org or LaTeX. Recruiters and hiring
  14 managers generally expect a tailored resume, anyway. Let's see how far
  15 this goes. I also have

  29 I am a professional UNIX and GNU/Linux engineer with a software
  30 development background (and generally a nerd). I particularly enjoy
  31 working in the space between silos of System Engineering and Software
  32 Development, which may be called DevOps. I particularly like to
  33 automate things that **can't** be automated, other than
  34 r&eacute;sum&eacute; generation ;).

  36 Current proficiencies include scripting languages such as SHELL, Bash,
  37 KSH, PERL, Python. I am also proficient in C and some experience with
  38 Lisp, emacs-lisp, Scheme (guile), and Clojure. I also use tools such
  39 as GNU autotools, git, make daily.
